A cultural visit to an amazing country.
Morocco had always been on my bucket list of places to visit. It was my also my first adventure into Africa.
The itinerary was a grand one at that, flying in to Marrakech and doing a full loop of the country, taking in Essaouria on the Atlantic coast to Merzouga on the edge of the Sahara Desert, then up to Chefchaouen aka the blue city in the very north of the country before heading down to Fez and returning back to Marrakech. We had 17 days to accomplish our tour.
Here are some photos from the trip.
Practising my Bedouin style in the Sahara.
A once in a lifetime camel ride out in the Sahara Desert of Erg Cherbi dunes to our nomadic tent where we would camp out and stare at the amazing stars!
I caught this image as a boy was running through an ally with a blue balloon in the blue town of Chefchaouen, Morocco.
